Bought the FlexGuard vest about three months ago and honestly cannot fault it. I work nights in security and the amount of incidents I see on a weekly basis made me want something discreet under my shirt rather than a bulky tactical vest. This is exactly that. Very pleased.
Been a door man as well as in close-protection for 10+ years. Owned a few different vests over the years including bullet proof ones. This is far and away the most wearable one I've had. The others were fine for protection but awful to work in for a full ten-hour shift, especially in the summer. This vest while not exactly coolmax equivalent in terms of ventilation, still feels warm but it's much more comfy in terms of weight and mobility, I genuinely forget I have it on. built is solid and the product knowledge from their team was excellent and very supportive. Recommended.
Honestly wasn��t sure about spending this much on a vest I hoped I��d never need. Six weeks after buying it, someone turned up outside the shop with a knife. The vest was nearby and I had it on immediately, luckily the guy went passed and nothing terrible happened to me, still the vest kept me calm and feeling reassured. Well worth the investment. Buy it.

Just know that if you wear this outdoors in the summer under another shirt, you will sweat. It is not a single piece of solid slab like some of the others, there is porous fabric but it's still armour. Still an excellent product, really tough (I tested on the small test sample came together with the vest) and I highly recommend it for security work where you don't have a lot of better choice.
Feels sturdy. Haven't been stabbed so I can't speak to that but the overall built quality and stitching is very high.
It felt heaving when I held it my hand but when I put it on it doesn't feel heavy at all, at least not overwelhmingly heavy, which was one of the main concern for me before ordering it. I wore the vest in my house and walked around for about an hour, and felt I could still carry on for another hour, which is more than long enough for my trip to my office. Just wish it was tiny bit thinner, but I guess thickness comes with better and more effective protection?
Feels really solid and reassuring immediately when I put it on, doesn't make me look like wearing a tank though.
The vest is well made, I think it's a little over-designed because it's almost impossible to penetrate with a knife. Maybe you can think about lowering the thickness and weight with your future upgrades? Still, happy with the vest.

Put a kitchen knife to this test sample that came with the vest. Gave it a few quick jabs and some really hard ones. Barely left a mark on the sample. It is legit.
