Care Instructions

Care Instructions for Your Stab Proof Clothing

Your stab proof clothing is designed to provide you with maximum protection while ensuring comfort and durability. To maintain its effectiveness and extend its lifespan, please follow these care instructions carefully.

Washing Instructions
1. Remove the Protective Core: Always remove the protective core from the outer layers before washing. This core is not designed to withstand the rigors of a washing machine and must be handled separately.
2. Washing the Outer Layers:
- Machine wash the outer layers in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Use mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the material.
- Air dry the outer layers or tumble dry on low heat to prevent shrinking and fabric damage.

Cleaning the Protective Core
- Do Not Machine Wash: The protective core should never be put into a washing machine.
- Spot Clean: Use a damp cloth and mild soap to gently clean the surface of the protective core. Avoid soaking it or using harsh chemicals.

Cleaning of the protective guards(Arm, leg and shoulder guards)

It is not recommend machine-wash or tumble dry the guards as the stab proof armour panels built into the guards may either be damaged by the washing and tumble dry machines, or make damages to these machines. It is recommend that to use neutral cleaning agents on the fabric and brush as you would on a conventional backpack, take care not to scratch the fabric in the process as it would shorten the useful life of the guards.

General Maintenance Tips
1. Inspect Regularly: Periodically check your stab proof clothing for signs of wear and tear. Pay close attention to seams, zippers, and the protective core for any damage.
2. Store Properly: Store your clothing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid folding or compressing the protective core to maintain its integrity. Use a hanger instead.
3. Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the clothing or protective core to extreme temperatures, chemicals, or prolonged moisture, as these can compromise their effectiveness.
4. Handle with Care: When removing or reinserting the protective core, do observe the different sides of the core, make sure that the anti-thrust side is facing away from your body, once the protective core is inserted and when you are wearing the stab proof clothing.
